And here I was hoping to get away from Integrated Sets...
Posted by Kuro-chan - March 2nd, 2016 - 20:47
An integrated version of the Alternate Style #1 was put up last night. Another 3,000+ images later...

And on a "Make Kuro Happy" note: Stefan Nikolaus has made yet another donation to the site. Thank youz!

EDIT #1: Thanks to Telemachus2814 for pointing out a problem with this set. It has been fixed.

EDIT #2: And regarding Heyallo's advice concerning a "NOVA 3" warning appearing on all my ranksets, I patched 2 of my scripts so it will only appear on the split sets.

I swear, if it wasn't for people like Telemachus, Jonesy, Azmaria, Heyallo and others watching my sets like a hawk, this site would be so bogged down with problems...

There are some color discrepancies, mainly in the marine folder where the d series, brown, is actually a third purple set while d2 is fine.

So, here is what I found:

- When I did up the ranks, I divided the work into background sections: cadets, enlisted and officers. Something happened on the officers end. Normally, when I save a set, I don't name each one manually. I have a program that lets me change the filenames in a folder, easily. I will save each image as a generic name "x-o6, x-e1, etc." then use the program to rename it into a specific dept. color (Which is a LOT faster than manually renaming each one as I save it). Something happened with lavender and brown and somehow I had saved all the officer lavenders as browns the 1st time around. It also explains why I could not find the "l-" when I did my double-check before I uploaded the zip... Oh well...

- The o6b ranks in Provisional Silver were incorrectly named and have been fixed.

Anyway, revised set it up.

I get it, I broke it down into the colors and ranks that I use and it takes time to do even that so I understand how a thing like that can happen. Really like the set though, this style's always been one of my favorites.

I am still trying to figure out why people like it / use it.

It was just something I randomly came up with during my early years of Kuro-RPG... I didn't expect it to be popular, at all.

Anyhow, excellent catch on your part. Thanks.

No problem, see something say something. Okay so maybe that's not how that phrase was intended to be used but it applies. It's a good set, not my absolute favorite but it's a good one.

It's a good thing there isn't a limit placed on how many smileys you can post at once.
