There is a patch up for Star Trek Online. It replaces all the flag officer pips (in folder #1 of all sections) and adds the colour Orange.

There was a topic on the forum about dressing up as your favourite rankset. Now that it has settled down, I will post the results of what everyone dressed up as:

Heyallo - Movie Era Shoulder Straps
Natalie - Kitty Collar Rankset
Kuro-chan - Hanaukyo Maids Rankset
Twan - DS9 Alpha Channel set... and noticing everything under his collar is transparent...
Jabberman - TMP Set.
Eoin - Random Marine Set

Hey, listen!
 Some important compy info.!

I was forwarded an email about this and felt I should post it on here.

I have talked with forum admin Heyallo about this. He informs me that Firefox Version 3.5.4 "apparently" fixes this problem, but also that 3.6 is expected to be out shortly.

Another option to this would be to try a broswer called Seamonkey which is based off the old Mozilla broswer code before they started developing Firefox.

Hey, listen!
 A big middle-of-the-week update!

(I think) the Star Trek Online set is done. More than 1,600 images strong, it was quite an effort to finish. =)

Don't forget to dress up at the Kuro-RPG forum as your favourite rankset! =)

Tomorrow also happens to be the 12th anniversary of my back injury, so if I am not in the best of moods...

Thank you very much to Gator and Emporer of the Kuro-RPG forums for their continued contributions to the site and forums, keeping the Kuro more and more happy to get work done. This marks Gator's 6th contribution and Emporer's 2nd. Awesome guys for sure and thank you!

Thanks, everyone. Happy ranking!

For some reason I listed the last update six days before it actually happened. Oops...

Thank you to Lord Trigan of Small Port for your nice contribution to Kuro-RPG. This now makes 44 donations from 28 different contributors. This is very awesome and keeps the Kuro happy and working, for sure. I also put up a link to your site on the Guest Links section in appreciation. (Working in advance instead of being asked first. )

... And to show I WAS working, The 29th Century Starfleet rankset has been overhauled and revised, creating a new set based off the old one. You can find a link to that set Here

I am also going to try this one more time in hope of getting more responses: It's been over a year now since rpg-insignias.co.uk disappeared and I have been hoping to contact the owner of that site about a proposal that has been sitting on the back burner for a while. If anyone knows how I can get a direct hold of Steve Marriott and you would be willing to share that information with me, I would certain appreciate it.

Thanks, everyone. Happy ranking!

 A Semi-Fresh, Semi-Old Update!

he most recent addition to the Kuro-RPG Ranksets is Version #4 of Battlestar Galactica. (Yes... There ARE 4 versions of the set now, somehow...)

Links:
- Canon Set
- Non-Canon Set

The canon set adheres to the show as best I can. The non-canon set is about twice as big and allows for a great deal more variety in the style of ranks.

Rycon of the Kuro-RPG forum has donated to the website. Thank you for your contribution! Contributions always make a Kuro happier!

For anyone who has looked at the Links setion within the last couple days, they may have noticed it was seriously overhauled and another 20 or so links were added on. I ended up browsing through a Trek related forum and found a mountain of sites that were using the work, so I took it upon myself and added them into my Links collection. If by chance you see a link to your site up on there and for some reason you strongly object to me linking to your site, let me know via my email address splattered all over the site and I can look at taking it down.

Its the weekend and Kuro-chan is going at it hard!!!! I just got word that a certain set is complete and that it is uploaded ready for use! How exciting! Psssst I'll give you a clue. (_ _ _ - #_) (Alternatively, click here )

Also on the table, are some minor updates to the pages themselves with the introduction and implementation of new buttons for the ranksets (see the button for the revised Alt #1 set), opinions are always welcome, so don't be shy.

In other news, I really should stop being like a ninja and news post... but its too much fun!
