Website Updates and News
For anyone who thought the Kuro was being la-zaaay.

Star Trek Online rankset got an update, though not the one everyone was bugging me about. It was suggested to me I do up a silver variety of ranks, so I have posted them in the set, bringing the rank count to 600.

Natalie of Kuro-RPG forums has made a donation to the site. As a result, Natalie's status on the forum... has changed. =) Thank you for your contribution to the site!

This "might" concern some Geocities users, but from what I hear, their service is shutting down on October 26th, 2009.

Stefan Nikolaus has made his 4th donation to Kuro-RPG. Thank you very much, Stefan. By any chance, if you have an account on the fourm, you can let me know (Since I do not know who you are actually) so I can upgrade it to Premium status. Or if you have a link to a site or something so I can put it on the Donate page. =)

That now marks "40" donations that have been made to this site! What does that say about contribution, eh?! =D

Some stuff has been done around the site and forum, housekeeping, some odds and ends. The stuff I wanted to point out include:

- ShadowWarrior Luke's Guest Flash page has been heavily overhauled. You can click here to see how much I screwed it up.
- Administrator Heyallo of the Kuro-RPG forum has made a generous donation to Kuro-RPG, marking the third time he has contributed. Thank you very much, Heyallo!
- Link pages have been updates (more or less) I had to remove a few premium banners but a couple new ones went in their place, one of them linking to a Spanish Trek SIMM site that is pretty good quality.

 Phase #2 Up.
Posted by Kuro-chan - September 6th, 2009
All of my main pages (not rank pages) have been adjusted to accommodate the new background designs. Some links in the Links section have been adjusted, added on, removed, etc.

One link I would like to point to (And this goes especially for my fellow Canadians) is here:

This links to a 2-hour presentation on how the Canadian banking and monetary system works... Or rather does not work. Very informative and it really shows a lot about who does not know what these days. Even if you are not from my home and native land, what goes on here could easily be happening in your country as well.

I watched the whole link myself. I would say I knew about 85% of what was already discussed, but there were some odds and ends that were new to me. Even if you do not live in Canada, odds are, your monetary system might be in a similar situation. Still, it IS 2 hours long, so be prepared to sit back and enjoy the show. ^^

Some changes may have been observed on the main page. I think it is about time the site gets a bit more of a graphics overhaul, so... Phase #1 is completed.

 I take over again!

Three revised sets have now been posted on the site. These have all been enhanced, re-worked, and given alpha channels (for those who ask, it means they will properly blend with any background color. The following revised sets are:

- Full Metal Alchemist
- Full Metal Panic
- Hanaukyo Maid Tai

Thank you to Stefan Nikolaus for another generous contribution to Kuro-RPG. This marks his third donation to the site and to me.

 TODAY! More Ranks of AWESOME!
Posted by Heyallo - August 23rd, 2009
The first is a custom version of the Star Trek XI ranks. There is a uniform difference ladies and gentlemen between non-commissioned and commissioned officers. This also makes the Ensign uniform distinctive =p. Check it out HERE

The second set is the awesome 2400 Series (Now with Alpha Channels)!!! This set has been in the works for a little while now and is finally complete.

Excuse me for a quick second. *does a little dance* Ok where was I.... Oh Yes! I ninja'd your news post Kuro-chan. I win.

*throws down a smoke pellet and disappears*

For fun, I decided to add a minor project on the sidebar. It's called the "Token Places" project to see where the Kuro-chan can land in sites/fleets/SIMMs that do not mind having me there in a token position, something that I am not required to actively participate in. I have one signup so far. We will see how the rest go.
What the-- Since when did Twan...?!

Because Kuro's PC is on the fritz I get the honor to write this little part, yay . So anyhow, Wisper's request colors, blue and purple are now added to the Star Trek: Online set. That makes the rank count up to 328 striking images, of which only 16 carry no pip on them. So give Kuro-dono a round of applause and a cookie for an awesome addition to his already great rank set.

Kuro note: The PC is not on the fritz, "Mekuro" is on the fritz, as in I am. Heh.

Twan Counter-note: Ah well, it's hard to seperate you two

Another note: Thanks to Eliana Tamerin for noticing an error in this post.
