She will, however, respond to Holt and Waters. While neither a Laura Gomez or Laura Holt show up in the computer records, a Laura Waters DOES. This could possibly mean this is their intended name.

This allows the player to visit him in Burglary and ask about the shotgun, prints and serial number. However: Because it increments and is not set to 1, the player can visit the motel room enough times (in multiples of 65536) and reset this value back to 0, meaning the player cannot get the points for the various questions. Only while it is set to 1 will Simpson ask if there is something he can do for you. Otherwise, he will give you a random conversation.
