This can only be done with the personal car at the start of the game while it is pulling up in front of the house and will (likely) require a decent amount of advance key pressing for the moonwalk to happen. This (appears to) require a fresh, new game (or Day 2 with some global variable mods) or other glitches to perform.

If the trunk was left open when leaving Marie's place, the trunk will appear closed as Keith yells at Sonny to get a move on, then it pops open for him.

The gun must be drawn and Keith MUST be in this exact spot. If Keith is not here, then Sonny will just be shoved around the corner. Keith's presence allows the game to push Sonny OOB. Keith can only get into the right position by manipulating his movement after leaving Marie's house. Keith will not walk high enough otherwise. It's possible to walk along the garage door with the diagonals, also raising Sonny slightly higher than usual until his movement is halted. Even though the rest of the screen above the house is walkable terrain, Sonny cannot go any higher normally. It's unknown exactly why, but it's theorized there is a y-cooridnate restriction like the Motel parking lot. Despite this, Sonny can bizarrely pop up when walking diagonal along the garage door with the mouse, keys won't work for this one. This will also cause Keith to start frantically running around. It's possible to clip back in bounds by aligning with one of the corners and drawing the gun.
